IMPACT ERM® Applications Implementation & Development

The Syntex Professional Services team brings a proven implementation methodology to each of our customer engagements. This methodology has been used repeatedly to ensure our IMPACT ERM® applications are deployed effectively and to help our customers drive the maximum value out of their IMPACT ERM® solution. The Syntex implementation methodology is comprised of a Solution Delivery track and a Project Management track.

The heart of the Solution Delivery process is a pre-configured version of IMPACT ERM® that we call Immediate IMPACTSM. We jump-start all of our new implementation projects using the Immediate IMPACTSM configuration. The Immediate IMPACT configuration was developed based on over ten years of experience working with global, industry-leading organizations and successfully implementing ERM solutions. Immediate IMPACT allows us to quickly establish a prototype system that can be used to support project requirements analysis, design and configuration activities. The prototype system facilitates an iterative design and configuration approach that enables us to quickly deliver the desired customer solutions. Solution decisions are based on the working system prototype rather than a conceptual or paper-based model. In addition, greater knowledge transfer is accomplished throughout the project by working with the prototype system.

Implementation Services – Project Management

The Syntex implementation methodology also contains a Project Management track to ensure appropriate management practices are in place and followed during the implementation project. The Syntex Project Management approach is aligned with the standards expressed in the Project Management Institute's guide entitled A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide). A standard Project Management Plan is established in the planning phase of the project and then managed throughout the project to ensure delivery of the customer solution within scope, budget, schedule, resource and quality specifications.
