Joe Stough

Joe Stough is the visionary and strategist behind the IMPACT ERM® Suite of solutions. Trained as an Information Technology Management consultant and statistician, Stough has led Syntex to fulfill a niche in the database software application market by providing solutions that successfully apply mathematical concepts and software technology to dramatically impact Enterprise Risk Management on a global basis. Recently recognized for his leadership and vision, Stough received the 2003 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for the Technology & IT Services Sector for the Houston Region. Stough also holds a bachelors degree in mathematics and a masters degree in applied statistics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Kip Carter
Director of Industry Solutions
Kip Carter has a Bachelor of Science degree and over 17 years experience as an Environmental Health and Safety professional, working for multiple Fortune 500 companies and the federal government in positions such as Compliance Safety and Health Officer, Industrial Hygienist, Health and Safety Manager, and Employee Health and Industrial Hygiene Manager. Since joining Syntex, he has held several positions in selling and implementing Syntex’s flagship product IMPACT ERM® such as Configuration Consultant, Project Manager, Solution Engineer and Account Manager. Prior to accepting the current position, Kip was a global Account Manager for several of Syntex’s key customers.
Emily P. McAnally
Director of Development
Emily joins Syntex Management Systems from Quorum Business Solutions, where she was responsible for product development, support and professional services of the Energy, Marketing and Transportation business unit. Prior to her role at Quorum, Emily held leadership positions with Severn Trent Systems, ADAC Labs, EDS, and Texas Instruments. She brings nearly 24 years of technology experience to the role, twenty of which were spent in the commercial software industry. In 2002, she was recognized by the Association for Women in Computing with the Leadership in Technology award.
John Mercadante
Senior Director of Product Management
John has worked with customers worldwide to gain measurable value from their solution investments for 15 years. John continues to work directly with Syntex customers to develop a value roadmap aligned with the Syntex product roadmap. He is an evangelist for the “complete product solution” and works to bring companies together to learn from and share business perspectives and experiences. John’s team works directly with the product development organization by delivering detailed business and functional requirements and ensuring quality deliverables to the customers. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer information systems from Palm Beach Atlantic University.
David Ranucci
Director of Sales
David brings to the position over 12 years of strategic selling experience with numerous enterprise software leaders in the areas of software sales and sales management. Prior to joining Syntex Management Systems, David held roles of increasing responsibility at SunGard Energy, LODESTAR Corp, and Automatic Data Processing. At Syntex, he is responsible for leading the Sales Executives, Account Managers, and Inside Sales teams towards increasing market awareness and customer value, as well as achieving other key company goals and objectives. David graduated from the University of Houston with a BBA in business management.
